At Storyly, we love how our customers create engaging content for their users, and we believe that this content deserves to be consumed by wider audiences. Letting your users share your content with external audiences is a great way to create virality regarding your content and, ultimately, your app. Imagine how many times we share content, a product, or an event in our daily life. Those who are inspired by the content share that inspiration with their friends and families. Therefore, social sharing allows apps to gain extra exposure and use it as an alternative user acquisition channel.
That’s why we’re pleased to announce that your stories are now sharable for end-users to share your app stories with their friends, families, and other people on different platforms. Stories can be shared on platforms like WhatsApp, Twitter, Telegram, and LinkedIn, as well as copying the link to share wherever they want.
How to use sharable stories
Sharable stories work at the app level. So, to get started, go to app settings and switch on sharable stories on the app list. Once you switch on sharable stories, all stories inside that app will be sharable.
A share icon appears on the right top corner of your stories. Once your users tap on the share icon, they can either share it on social platforms or copy the link.
You can view how many times your stories are shared on the analytics dashboard. If you observe that your content has more shares than others, you know it sparked some interest among your users. This provides you the opportunity to explore what kind of content your users find worth sharing.
If a user shares a story with a friend who doesn’t have the app, then the link directs her to the app’s store page (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). That will enable your app to reach your users’ social circles and achieve extra exposure and more downloads.
Start letting your users share your stories
We’re excited to see how you use social sharing to communicate your content within wider audiences. You can enable social sharing on app settings and start getting the most out of your stories.
