Pluxee Boosts User Engagement with Storyly’s Interactive Stories

Founded as a leading employee benefits provider, Pluxee CZ offers a broad range of services to support employees in maximizing their perks, from meal vouchers to leisure benefits. Pluxee in the Czech Republic helps employers enrich the lives of their workforce by making a wide array of products and services available through their app. 

Challenge 1: Educating Users on Diverse Spending Options

One key challenge Pluxee CZ faced was that many users were unaware of the variety of options available for redeeming their benefits. While meal cards were commonly used, users were less informed about the full range of leisure options, such as buying books, booking travel, or attending language classes. This gap led many users to spend most of their benefits on familiar options, such as pharmacies, rather than exploring the richer offerings available.

Challenge 2: Increasing Engagement with In-App Content

Pluxee CZ needed an effective way to keep users engaged within the app. Historically, communication efforts through social media and newsletters had mixed results in driving app engagement. The team sought a more interactive, in-app solution that would capture users' attention and build a stronger connection with the app as a go-to source for benefit usage information.

Solution 1: Expanding User Awareness Through Storyly

By integrating Storyly, Pluxee CZ found an ideal platform to bridge the knowledge gap about benefit options. Storyly’s dynamic Stories allowed Pluxee CZ to showcase partner offerings directly in the app, using a familiar, social media-style format that users found intuitive. This made it easy for users to discover new ways to use their benefits beyond the typical options, resulting in a stronger connection to the app and the brand.

Solution 2: Driving Targeted Engagement with Audience-Specific Content

Storyly's targeting features provided Pluxee CZ with the flexibility to tailor content to specific user segments, ensuring that users received relevant and personalized information. With Stories, Pluxee CZ could engage users with interactive content and encourage actions through CTAs such as promotional codes or event participation. The ability to target different groups was especially useful for communicating with Pluxee's corporate partners and individual users simultaneously.

Solution 3: Offering Communication Channels to Corporate Partners

Pluxee leveraged Storyly is used not only for user engagement but also as a channel for corporate clients to communicate with their employees. Additionally selected partners (places that accept the benefits) could now share updates, offers, and other news directly through Stories, creating a new value-add for Pluxee’s end users. This dual-purpose approach helped Pluxee deliver a more comprehensive experience, benefitting users,corporate clients and partners.

Results

The implementation of Storyly brought measurable results for Pluxee CZ:

  • Enhanced User Engagement: Approximately half of Pluxee’s app users now interact with Stories, significantly increasing in-app engagement and boosting awareness of benefit options.
  • Increased Diversity of Benefit Use: Storyly’s Stories helped educate users on the extensive range of spending possibilities with 49% CTR, leading to more diversified usage of benefits..

Pluxee CZ plans to expand its use of Storyly by exploring bilingual content for its diverse user base and creating dedicated Story groups to support new product launches. These initiatives will allow Pluxee CZ to further personalize the app experience and enhance user engagement with minimal additional development effort.

With Storyly, Pluxee CZ successfully created a dynamic communication channel within its app that boosts engagement, enhances user education, and offers additional value to corporate partners. Storyly’s Stories have not only increased user interaction but have also positioned the Pluxee CZ app as a valuable resource for employees to maximize their benefits.
