A major update on web stories: Template studio, audiences and feed stories

We’re very excited to announce our newest features for web stories. Here’s what’s new:

– Template studio, the core pillar for automated and personalized stories, is now available for web stories as well. You can now create your own story templates which can be filled with your own data sources like product or RSS feeds.

– The templates you created can be filled with product feeds. If you’re an e-commerce website you can now use your own Google Merchant Feeds, Facebook Product Catalog or any product feed that you have in XML format to publish product stories automatically.

– Besides product feeds, you can use RSS feeds to turn your content into stories with intuitive templates. If you have a blog, it’s super practical to publish your blog content as stories with CTAs to relevant pages.

– Upload your audiences in the CSV format and use Template Studio to create personalized stories. For example, you can create different audiences by simply adding CSV data containing information about your users (cart items, promo codes, favorite products etc.). Then, match the parameters of your data with template placeholders. Just like that, your users will engage with relevant stories in your website.
